Alan Lan
Managing Director
Alan Lan is a keen sailor and a contender in the prestigious Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. Having grown up in Sydney since his teenage years, Alan combines a deep-rooted love for the sea with sharp business acumen. He is the founder of one of Asia’s leading marine equipment distribution company, and played a key role in supplying and managing the first-ever 110-foot super sailing catamaran built in the China. As a co-founder of KOVN, Alan brings over 20 years of business and managerial experience, contributing strategic vision and operational leadership to the company.

Design Director
Architect | Urban Planner | Senior Interior Designer & Decorator
Co-founder of KOVN with 20+ years of multidisciplinary design experience spanning urban planning, luxury residences, commercial spaces, hotels, and aged care. Known for a refined, minimalist approach grounded in the “less is more” philosophy, Karen creates timeless, functional spaces that balance form and purpose. A curious and thoughtful designer, she brings fresh ideas and focus to every project—on and off the golf course.

A property investor turned builder Co-founder of KOVN and My Bricx, Hemanth brings hands-on experience in real estate, construction, and development. He’s driven by a mission to make quality homes more accessible to everyday Australians. Known for his transparency and tech-driven mindset, Hemanth leads KOVN’s push toward simpler, faster, and more affordable homebuilding.
